JKBOSE Important Notification Regarding National Means cum Merit Scholarship

In a recent development by the Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education, an extension has been granted for the submission of applications for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) examination 2023-24. Following the initial notification (No: F(C-Acad-NMMS)2023-24; dated; 09-11-2023), the last date for submission of application forms has been extended to 15th February, 2024.

The office urges Chief Education Officers (DNOs) to ensure the timely submission of complete application forms, along with the necessary documents and district-wise databases, to the CDR Wing, Bemina, Srinagar, or Rehari Colony, Jammu. This submission should take place within seven days of the revised closing date mentioned in this notification.

Lia Director Academics, acting as the Liaison Officer for NMMSS, emphasizes the importance of district-level cooperation to facilitate the smooth execution of the scholarship examination. This extension aims to accommodate the needs of Class-VIII (8) students who aspire to participate in the NMMSS program.
