IUST Begins Registrations for New Civil Engineering Students

Srinagar, January 22, 2024 The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) in Awantipora, Kashmir has started the registration process for new students admitted to the B.Tech in Civil Engineering program for working professionals.

According to a notice issued by the Office of the Dean of Academic Affairs at IUST, registration for the new batch of Civil Engineering students will begin on January 23 and conclude on January 25, 2024. This registration is for the Autumn 2023 academic session.

Students have been informed to complete the registration formalities through their respective user IDs on the university website. The Head of the Department of Civil Engineering has also been requested to float the necessary courses by January 22.

The Islamic University of Science and Technology, located in Pulwama district, offers several undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering, sciences, arts, management and social sciences. The B.Tech in Civil Engineering for working professionals allows those already employed in the field to obtain a formal engineering degree.

This will be the latest batch of students pursuing the Civil Engineering program under IUST’s initiative to provide inclusive technical education opportunities in Jammu and Kashmir. The university is currently headed by Vice Chancellor Dr. Mushtaq A. Siddiqi.
