DC Baramulla Chairs Meeting to Improve Revenue Department’s Service Delivery

Baramulla, Jan 23 (KV): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Baramulla district, Minga Sherpa, chaired a meeting of revenue officers on Tuesday to discuss improving service delivery. The meeting, held at the DC office conference hall, focused on key issues like digitization, quality checks, and timely completion of land records (Jammabandies). Other topics included geo-referencing of cadastral maps, surveying plots under the SVAMITVA scheme, updating land records under PM Kisan, and improving online services under the Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA). Minga Sherpa stressed the need for 100% error-free digitized land records and asked officers to meet timelines for various processes. She also reviewed the status of revenue court cases and directed officers to prioritize and promptly upload these cases on the Revenue Court Case Management System portal. The DC urged revenue officers to adhere to rules and dispose of PSGA cases in a timely manner.
